Leticia Tarrago, Born in 1940 in Orizaba, Veracruz, Studied at La Esmeraida, The Academy of Plastic Arts in Mexico City. She also spent time at The Advanced Graphic Art Studio with Guillermo Silva. She later studied in Warsaw , Poland , with several of the leading Polish graphic artists. Her works have been shown in exhibitions at the University of Puerto Rico , the Salon de la Plastica Mexicana in Mexico City , the Salon Debiutow in Warsaw , Poland , and the Museum of Modern Art in Tel-Aviv. In 1967, she won the National Engraving Prize of Mexico.
